PSAP Recovery Apartments provide support services to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use diagnoses needing the support necessary to live independently while maintaining their recovery.
Residents are provided furnished double unit apartments within Saratoga Springs.
Our trauma-informed, person centered programming honors the unique needs and challenges of each person.
Residents work with staff to create individual goals and activities to assist them to live more independently.
We provide coaching, support, and guidance on an ongoing basis to enhance each resident’s ability to live successfully in the community.

- 24-hour emergency on-call
- Furnished apartment
- Individualized support and interventions with recovery coaches
- Guided practice in setting and attaining short and long-term goals directed toward more independent living
- Ongoing review to evaluate growth and healing
- Advocacy and support in meeting both physical and mental health needs
- Trauma-informed, person centered independent living skills training including:
- Medication management
- Daily living skills
- Budgeting and money management
- Accessing community resources
- Establishing and maintaining social relationships
- Service coordination with community providers and natural supports
- Crisis intervention
- Guided practice in conflict resolution and stress management
- Social/recreational activities
- Dual diagnosis support group
Eligibility

- There are no residency requirements for eligibility but all our PSAP Recovery Apartments are located in Saratoga County
- Residents must be at least 18 years old
- Have a primary diagnosis of a severe and persistent psychiatric condition
- Willing and able to actively participate in programming that will help them improve functional skills in order to move toward more independent living
The monthly fee for each resident is based on the current SSI rate for eligible people. Most residents pay this fee with income received from federal, state and/or local funding sources.
Referrals
The PSAP Recovery Apartments are located in Saratoga County, but we accept out of county referrals for services at the PSAP Recovery Apartments.
Mental health professionals may refer adults to PSAP Recovery Apartments by completing the Saratoga County Adult SPOA Referral Form. If you need help with this process or to learn more, please call for additional information.
