Executive Director’s Recognition

The Executive Director’s Recognition is given to individuals who’s insight, efforts, and innovation elevate their program.

Congratulations to Katie Taylor, Housing First Coordinator, as the October Executive Director’s Recognition Recipient. Katie has continued to excel at her job over the past year despite numerous challenges that often forced her to be out of work.

As the Housing First Coordinator, Katie is a team unto herself, but she manages to keep the program running smoothly without having teammates to help carry her caseload. Her excellent work has kept the Housing First program in the top tier of our Continuum of Care year after year, and she is frequently complimented on the quality of her documentation and advocacy.

Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition

The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.

Congratulations to Mary Gallaway, Admin Support, as the October Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition Recipient. Over the last several months Mary has shown amazing growth in her role as our Administrative Assistant.  She has faced numerous challenging, at times stressful situations, and in addition to remaining calm and navigating them to the best of her ability, she has used each as a learning opportunity and consistently applies those lessons to the next situation.

Rise to the Occasion Recognition

The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.

Congratulations to Matthew Lieberman, Relief Counselor at Milestone Manor, as an October Rise to the Occasion Recognition Recipient. Milestone residents consistently share their gratitude for Matt’s positive attitude, compassion, and joyful nature. The Milestone team appreciates his dedication and consistent willingness to not only fill coverage needs, but also his help with workloads and creative ideas to keep the program running smoothly.

Matt has become an asset to the Milestone Manor team!

Congratulations to Katrina Sherman, Rain House Program Director, as an October Rise to the Occasion Recognition Recipient. Katrina has gone above and beyond since becoming the Program Director at Rain House. She has managed the house with a skeleton crew of staff since starting, requiring her to cover numerous (as many as 4 one week) overnight shifts. She has done so while still maintaining the residents of the house and continuing to process referrals and make admissions.

Staff on the RISE

Staff on the Rise is an employee recognition program which recognizes staff who possess an exemplary work ethic, excel on the job, are team players, and are an inspiration to others.

Congratulations to Jasmine Allen-Meyer, PSAP Service Plan Writer, as the October Staff on the Rise Recognition Recipient. Jasmine started at RISE as a Progressive Steps Apartment Program (PSAP) Counselor in May 2021. She was promoted to the PSAP Service Plan Writer in August 2022. In her new role, Jasmine will be working with all the PSAP residents and their counselors to develop individualized goals and objectives.
