RISE is pleased to announce our annual premiere fundraising event taking place on Friday, October 27, 2023, turning the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs into Dr. Frank N. Furter’s mansion.
We invited you to take part in the fun by becoming a RHPS Sponsor or RHPS Honorary Committee Member of this science-fiction double feature – a beloved, rowdy, nocturnal tradition!
The event starts at 6:00pm with a special VIP cocktail hour, and a brief speaking program beforehand followed by the featured event – the interactive viewing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
This is only the second year for the event and already it’s becoming a Saratoga Halloween staple. Most attendees dressed up, and many came in groups and exhibited a themed costume choice reflecting the movie. “We couldn’t believe how well-received the event was last year,” said Sybil Newell, RISE Executive Director. “People are still talking about it.”
Sponsors are invited to join the fun! Those who wish to be an event sponsor may visit the RHPS Sponsor Page. Your sponsorship will include a VIP happy hour which encompasses a light fare buffet by The Adelphi, open bar, live music from the Garland Nelson Trio and seats to the show. Depending on level of sponsorship from $1,000-$10,000, all sponsors will appear on the various marketing materials for the fundraiser.

RISE provides supportive and affordable housing, advocacy, and outreach for those who need it, as well as recovery services, and now most recently, providing a low-barrier shelter for the unhoused. “Our services are crucial to several members of the community, and we help them successfully navigate their recovery journey,” said Sybil.
