Please join us in congratulating the April 2026 Recognition Recipients!
Staff on the Rise Recognition
Staff on the Rise is an employee recognition program which recognizes staff who possess an exemplary work ethic, excel on the job, are team players, and are an inspiration to others.

Please join us in congratulating, Amber Pfeiffer, on her recent promotion to Progressive Steps Apartment Program (PSAP) Program Supervisor, and as the April 2026 Staff on the RISE recognition recipient.
When the previous PSAP Program Supervisor unexpectedly left the program, Amber immediately filled in anywhere she could. Since being promoted, she has hit the ground running, organizing, and assisting in any way she can.
Amber is dedicated and hardworking, compassionate, and helpful. PSAP Staff share that they are so lucky to have her on their team.
Rise to the Occasion Recognition
The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.
Please join us in congratulating, Juliet Johnston, RISE Above CASAC-T, as the April 2026 Rise to the Occasion recognition recipient.

Over the last couple of months Juliet has been faced with challenges that one would hope you’d never have to engage with during your career.
However, she faced these challenges head first. She was able to process the situations, communicate appropriately, and do the right things even when it was very difficult.
RISE Above staff and leadership are very proud of her for navigating the situations as a professional.
Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition
The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job.
We are proud to recognize Keith Barkevich, Riverview Overnight Staff, and Rubin Johnson, Domonic Hollow Overnight Staff, for the April RISE to the Extra Mile recognition.

Keith and Rubin consistently do an exemplary job in their current roles at Riverview and Dominic Hollow respectively. They bring professionalism and reliability to everything they do and regularly go above and beyond by helping to fill staffing gaps across the agency.
Recently, Keith covered shifts seven days a week at Riverview while the building was short-staffed, demonstrating incredible dedication and dependability. And Rubin has been covering shifts at RISE Above during their staffing shortage, always stepping in with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Rubin and Keith’s hard work plays a pivotal role in ensuring the affordable housing complexes continue to function smoothly, and their commitment to resident safety and consistent services does not go unnoticed. Knowing they are working overnight at the buildings truly helps the program sleep at night!
