At RISE Housing and Support Services, we believe that housing is more than shelter—it’s the foundation of recovery, dignity, and community. That belief is what made the recent rehabilitation of Rain House, one of our longest-standing Community Residences, such a meaningful milestone.
Today, we are proud to share that Rain House has officially reopened, newly revitalized and ready to welcome residents back into a space that is safer, more comfortable, and better equipped to support healing.

This transformation wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the leadership of Governor Kathy Hochul, whose commitment to preserving and expanding supportive housing has made a direct and lasting impact here in Saratoga County.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Governor Hochul and the NYS Office of Mental Health for recognizing that supportive housing must be maintained as well as expanded. This investment is more than bricks and mortar—it is an investment in the lives of individuals who deserve the opportunity to thrive.

As we reopen Rain House’s doors, we are reminded that when government, nonprofits, and community members work together, real progress happens.
To Governor Hochul, NYS OMH, and everyone who helped make this project a reality: thank you for believing in the power of supportive housing, and in the people who call Rain House home.
