Rain House Art Room

The Rain House Art Room was created during the summer of 2020 after several residents requested that a little used room in the basement be converted into a space to draw, color, paint, and work on art projects.

Shelving, cabinets, and other pieces of furniture were repurposed in the creation of the Art Room.
One of the walls was painted with chalkboard paint for doodling.
The residents use the room independently or in groups they initiate to work on specific art projects.
Several of the works of art are on display in the Rain House Art Room.
The art room is always open and available to the residents.
Coloring books are also available for those who like to color as a way to create art.
This resident is a frequent user of the art room. Several of her works of art are on display in the RISE Housing and Support Services Main Office as seen below.
