Lifestyles of Saratoga 2nd Annual Give Back Gift Wrap Bar Raises $2,000 for RISE

The true spirit of the holidays was on full display in Lifestyles of Saratoga’s elegantly decorated window on Broadway in December 2021. The shop hosted its second annual Gift Wrap Bar benefitting a local non-profit organization. Holiday shoppers were encouraged to stop by Lifestyles of Saratoga, Caroline & Main, and Union Hall (all owned by Saratoga native, Heidi Owen West) to find amazing gifts and have them wrapped for free with a donation to RISE!

“Caring for our community is woven into the DNA of our organizations,” says Heidi. “Our partnership with community-based organizations, like RISE, to raise awareness and funds is an important part of what we do.  The Give Back Gift Wrap bar allows our customers to support important social services in our community. It’s just one instance of how we work together to care for our community every day. Partnerships like this one are what make Saratoga Springs a great place to live. Together we can make a difference.”

In true Saratogian form, our locals took full advantage of this opportunity to support their fellow community members. The thoughtful donations raised by Lifestyles totaled an impressive $2,000. These funds will help to support RISE’s mission of helping people living with mental health, substance use, and other life challenges to remain safe and healthy in the community through housing and supportive services.

Sybil Newell, RISE Executive Director, reflects on the experience of being the Give Back Gift Wrap Bar beneficiary, “Partnering with Heidi, Lifestyles of Saratoga, Caroline & Main, and Union Hall has been a wonderful experience. The employees were so welcoming and helpful, and we are incredibly grateful for the volunteers who donated their time to the Give Back Gift Wrap Bar and the generosity of our community members!”

RISE thanks Lifestyles and everyone who participated in the Give Back Gift Wrap Bar! If you would like to support the important work RISE does in our community in the new year, please our Get Involved page.
