June 2023 Staff Recognitions

Please join us in congratulating the June 2023 Recognition Recipients!

Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition

The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.

Congratulations to Jessica Rounds, PSAP Counselor, as the June Rise to the Extra Mile recipient.

Jessica is always willing to take on extra responsibilities, such as assisting with training new staff, mentoring others and filling in when staff is absent. She is wholeheartedly committed to providing compassionate support to the individuals were serve and often puts the needs of the program before her own.

Congratulations Jessica! We appreciate your hard work and dedication.

Harlan, Brendan, Katrina, and Jolene came over on Friday and Sunday to help Jackie Knowles ensure Dominic Hollow was ready for move in today. It was much appreciated, and she couldn’t have done it without them!

Staff on the RISE

Staff on the Rise is an employee recognition program which recognizes staff who possess an exemplary work ethic, excel on the job, are team players, and are an inspiration to others.

Congratulations to Hannah Abare on her promotion to Program Supervisor at the Edgewood Treatment Apartments and for being the June Staff on the RISE Recipient.

Hannah started as a relief counselor at Edgewood House Community Residence in October 2020. She found that she enjoyed working with the residents, so in in December 2020 became a full time counselor.

When the Edgewood House closed this past spring, she along with most of the staff moved to the Edgewood Treatment Apartment program at Dominic Hollow where she was promoted to program supervisor.

Jackie Knowles, Edgewood Treatment Apartment Program Director says, “Since I began working with Hannah last February, I saw in her great potential and a desire to advance her career within the agency. She has the dedication, empathy, and compassion for the individuals we serve and the work we do. I am happy to have her on my team as the Edgewood Treatment Apartments Program Supervisor.”

Thank you, Hannah, for your hard work and dedication!
