RISE is thrilled to announce the honorees of the 2025 RISE Above and Beyond Award, which will be presented on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the VIP Cocktail Party during RISE Presents The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs.
Each year, this award recognizes community members who go above and beyond in supporting RISE and the individuals we serve—neighbors facing mental health challenges, addiction, or homelessness. Past recipients have included leaders such as Congressman Paul Tonko and the Honorable Judge Vero, both of whom have made lasting impacts on our community through their advocacy and partnership.
This year, we are proud to honor the Saratoga Springs Police Department Community Engagement Officers: Sergeant Jenna Hiltz, Sergeant Andrew Streim, Officer Ryan Nicholson, Officer Cameron Mandala, Sergeant Zach Ferris.

These officers embody what it means to serve with compassion. Their dedication to building relationships, fostering trust, and supporting vulnerable community members has created meaningful change. By going beyond traditional policing, they have helped bridge divides, encourage collaboration, and create a safer, healthier Saratoga Springs for all.
We are deeply grateful for their commitment and proud to recognize their contributions with this year’s RISE Above and Beyond Award.
