Celebrating John: A Week of Milestones at Hedgerow House

At RISE Housing and Support Services, we have the privilege of witnessing life-changing moments. The quiet victories, the big breakthroughs, and the powerful transformations that happen when someone is supported in their recovery journey. This week, we are honored to celebrate one of those moments with John, a recent graduate of Hedgerow House.

In the span of just a few days, John accomplished what many might consider three separate major milestones:

  • He graduated from Hedgerow House, completing a crucial phase of his recovery journey.
  • He celebrated 8 months of sobriety, a testament to his strength, discipline, and resilience.
  • He passed his GED, opening doors for future education and career opportunities.

Achieving any one of these milestones is remarkable. Accomplishing all three in the same week is extraordinary.

John’s journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been driven by determination and supported by a caring community that believes in his potential. His success reminds us what recovery can look like when someone is given the stability, compassion, and tools they need to heal and grow.

At Hedgerow House, and across all of RISE’s programs, we know that recovery is not just about overcoming challenges — it’s about rediscovering possibilities. John’s story embodies that truth.

We are deeply proud of him and grateful to be part of his journey. Please join us in celebrating not only his accomplishments, but also the hope and perseverance they represent.

Congratulations, John. Your future is bright, and we’re cheering for you every step of the way.
