RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at a first-of-its-kind crisis residence in our region. A successful candidate will enjoy supporting 8-12 residents during their up to 28 day stay with us, as they work toward recovery from a mental health crisis. This position will have the unique opportunity to enter at the ground floor of an innovative new program that meets an important community need.
RISE offers a Licensed Practical Nurse:
- A starting base wage of $27 per hour
- Up to a $2 per hour overnight differential
- $1,500 bonus after 6 months of employment

Overview of Job Responsibilities:
- Providing services to residents as prescribed in their treatment recovery plan under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, and treatment planning
- Acclimating residents to physical surroundings, program philosophy and expectations
- Participating in crisis intervention
- Complying with all relevant regulations governing the program
To qualify you must have:
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal boundaries

- Successful completion of RISE background checks, a valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE automobile policy.
