Residential Program Supervisor

RISE Housing and Support Services is looking for someone with leadership qualities and experience in a human services field to support the management of one of our community residences in Ballston Spa. The perfect candidate will be able to work with diverse personalities and support a staff of 5 to help our residents overcome the life challenges their mental health diagnoses have presented, while maintaining a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment.

RISE offers a starting Program Supervisor:

  • A rate of $21 per hour
  • $1,500 bonus after 6 months of employment

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing  the creation and implementation of service planning for house residents with the Program Director
  • Complying with all relevant regulations governing the program
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the day-to-day operations of the program
  • Supporting program staff with their daily duties and crisis intervention
  • Modeling positive and appropriate behaviors and promoting professional development for staff

To qualify, you must have:

  • At least a year of experience in a human services field supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses (different combinations of education and experience will be considered)
  • A willingness to do what needs to be done to meet the goals of the program
  • An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication

  • Successful completion of RISE background checks, a valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE automobile policy.
