Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition
The Rise to the Extra Mile Recognition is given to highly motivated individuals who go that extra mile in their job. Rise to the Extra Mile honorees get to park in a designated parking space at the RISE administration office.
Congratulations to Jenna Espy, Community Outreach Court Coordinator, as the July Rise to the Extra Mile recipient! When Jenna first started as a Community Outreach Court Coordinator, she learned and started performing the duties and responsibilities of the job rather quickly. She jumps in and helps in any time or anyone. She goes above and beyond for the clients – all who greatly appreciate the work she does. Jenna is a great assets to the team.
Rise to the Occasion Recognition
The Rise to the Occasion Recognition is given to individuals who see a need within the agency and go above and beyond to fill that need.
Congratulations to Rachel Miller-Warner, Edgewood House Counselor, as the July Rise to the Occasion Recognition recipient! Rachel is a dedicated employee who consistently places herself in positions to learn, and seeks to be challenged by learning higher level program management functions.
She is highly invested in crafting service plans and in assisting her residents at Edgewood House with growth towards their goals. She has been running two house meetings a week since her hire date and exemplifies the consistency required by Edgewood House staff to provide a safe and instructive environment. She has served as a peer/mentor to new hires and maintains her own course load and schedule without requiring directive oversight.
Staff on the Rise
Staff on the Rise is an employee recognition program which recognizes staff who possess an exemplary work ethic, excel on the job, are team players, and are an inspiration to others.
Congratulations to Tierra Austin-Madyun, PSAP Recovery Counselor, the recipient of the July Staff on the Rise recognition! Tierra joined RISE in November 2020. Tierra is a single mother who, while working full time, completed her college degree – graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Plattsburg in May 2022.
