RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunities for a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to support the Medical Director role of our OMH-licensed intensive support residence SunRISE Retreat and/or our OASAS-licensed rehabilitation program RISE Above. A successful candidate will enjoy inspiring their team and while ensuring the program residents are receiving excellent support during their time with us, as they work toward recovery from a mental health or substance use diagnosis.
RISE offers a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner:
- A competitive rate of $90 to $120 per hours based on experience
- An opportunity utilize your skills to support the operational requirements
Overview of Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting the oversite ll medical/clinical services provided by the program(s) as needed
- Reviewing and prescribing medications
- Evaluating and supporting resident interventions
To qualify you must have:
- Nurse Practitioner certified through the NYS Department of Education, psychiatric specialty preferred
- 5+ years of experience with individuals living with serious mental illness or a substance use diagnosis
- An ability to remain calm under pressure while directing and inspiring team members
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal boundaries

- Successful completion of RISE background checks, a valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE automobile policy
