Director of Advocacy Services

RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a skilled leader with experience in human services to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for RISE’s community-based programs.  The successful candidate will enjoy the opportunity to support program leadership across a diverse range of services, including the Homebase Clubhouse, Adult and Youth Care Management, Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT), court-based initiatives, and community outreach and engagement efforts.  This position offers the unique opportunity to oversee both established and emerging programs that address important community needs, while inspiring, developing, and supporting a team of dedicated professionals.

RISE offers the Director of Advocacy Services:

  • A starting base salary range $70,000 – $80,000 per year
  • A $1,500 bonus after 6 months of employment

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring programs operate effectively and consistently while remaining aligned with organizational and contractual goals
  • Providing supportive leadership to assigned program leaders through clear direction, effective oversight, and accountability
  • Fostering strong relationships with community organizations, referral sources, courts, and other key stakeholders
  • Monitoring program outcomes, effectiveness, quality improvement initiatives, and innovation to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to program participants
  • Modeling positive, professional behaviors and fostering staff growth and professional development

To qualify you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience providing direct support in a human services organization
  • 3+ years of leadership and supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of court initiatives and homelessness services preferred
  • Other combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal boundaries

  • Successful completion of RISE background checks, a valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE automobile policy.
