RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for an organized, detailed oriented, numbers expert, to help lead our finance department at our growing agency. A successful candidate will be experienced with non-profit accounting and possess strong leadership skills.
RISE offers a Finance Director:
- A starting salary of between $70,000 and $85,000 based on experience

Overview of Job Responsibilities:
- Working with CFO and Accounting Manger to oversee accounting team and functions
- Creating and managing agency budgets
- Supporting and overseeing monthly and annual accounting processes
- Internal and external communication
- Ensuring adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations
To qualify you must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 5+ years of non-profit accounting experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Expertise with annual accounting reporting requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, and people skills
- Strong interpersonal boundaries

- Clearance with all relevant background checks as per RISE policies and governing regulations
- A valid NY State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the RISE automotive program desired
