Community Residence Program Director

RISE Housing and Support Services is looking for an organized, empathetic, dedicated individual to lead one of our community residences, Milestone Manor. The perfect candidate will be able to inspire a staff of 6 to help our up to 11 residents overcome the life challenges their mental health diagnoses have presented, while maintaining a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment.

RISE offers a starting Program Director:

  • A rate of $23.40 to $26.10 per hour with a 40 hour work week
  • Opportunities for additional earnings throughout the year

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing, designing, and implementing service planning for house residents
  • Complying with all relevant regulations governing the program
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the program
  • Monitoring program spending and petty cash
  • Modeling positive and appropriate behaviors and supporting professional development for staff

To qualify, you must have:

  • An Associate Degree in human services or a related field and 3+ years of experience working with sensitive populations
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Masters of Social Work
  • 1+ years of leadership experience
  • An ability to lead and inspire staff
  • A willingness to do what needs to be done to meet the goals of the program
  • An ability to operate independently and think on your feet
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication

  • Clearance with all relevant background checks as per RISE policies and governing regulations
  • A valid NY State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the RISE automotive program desired
