Leasing Specialist, Corinth

RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a confident, dedicated, and compassionate individual to manage the full leasing cycle of a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) property, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high occupancy levels. A successful candidate will be able to serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, balancing customer service with strict adherence to program requirements, including income verification, eligibility determinations, and file compliance. RISE offers the Leasing Specialist:

  • A starting rate of $21 per hour
  • A $1,500 bonus after 6 months of employment

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing care plans with program participants and supporting their efforts to attain their goals
  • Complying with all relevant regulations governing the program
  • Connecting program participants to community resources and housing options
  • Modeling positive and appropriate behaviors and maintaining professional boundaries

To qualify you must have:

  • ·High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
  • Experience with LIHTC, affordable housing, or property management required
  • An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
  • Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC (Section 42), and/or HCR compliance requirements preferred
  • Tax Credit Specialist preferred
  • Fair Housing Specialist preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., RealPage)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal boundaries
