Lindsey Connors, Co-chair of the Saratoga North Country Continuum of Care (CoC), shares insights on the CoC’s MythBusters: Homelessness campaign — an effort to challenge misconceptions and highlight the real experiences of those facing housing instability.
This campaign calls on community members, service providers, and policymakers to replace assumptions with understanding and action. Ending homelessness takes all of us — supporting individuals and families as they work toward stability, independence, and hope.

Ending homelessness requires a full continuum of care — prevention, outreach, emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing, affordable housing, and ongoing services. Through our work with the Continuum of Care and campaigns like MythBusters, RISE helps individuals and families achieve stability, independence, and hope. Through the CoC, the Mythbusters campaign helps shine a light on the truth about homelessness, fostering informed solutions and stronger community support.
