Victoria Furfaro: A Leader in Supportive Services

At RISE Housing and Support Services, we believe that people are the heart of everything we do—and few exemplify that more than Victoria Furfaro, Director of Outreach and Advocacy.

Victoria began working for RISE in 2019 and since has always gone above and beyond in her work, bringing compassion, commitment, and professionalism to every interaction. Whether she’s supporting individuals through challenging times or collaborating with colleagues to strengthen programs, Victoria leads with integrity and heart.

Now, she’s recently achieved not one, but three major milestones that speak to her excellence and drive:

She is now a licensed CASAC Advanced (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor), a distinction that requires rigorous training and clinical expertise to support individuals living with substance use challenges.

She also earned her CRPA (Certified Recovery Peer Advocate) credential, bringing the power of lived experience and peer support into her practice. With this certification, Victoria helps ensure that those navigating recovery are never alone—and always understood.

And she’s a proud graduate of Leadership Saratoga, joining a network of civic-minded professionals working to create meaningful change throughout Saratoga County. Her leadership, both inside and outside of RISE, inspires those around her to grow and engage more deeply with their communities.

Victoria embodies the mission of RISE: to empower people to live independently and with dignity. She meets every challenge with compassion, every opportunity with curiosity, and every person with care.

Please join us in celebrating Victoria Furfaro for all she’s achieved and all she brings to our work each and every day. Her impact is real, her leadership is inspiring—and we are so lucky to have her on the RISE team.
