The theme for Mental Health Month 2025, “Turn Awareness into Action,” aligns perfectly with our core value to serve as a catalyst, leader, and partner in meeting the housing and recovery needs of our community. Over the past few years RISE has turned awareness into action by finding the gaps in care in our community and developing programs to meet those needs.
This Mental Health Month, we extend our deepest gratitude for the support we received from our supports and our community. Without it these programs would not exist.
You can “Turn Awareness into Action” by making a generous one time or recurring donation to support our newest program, Homebase, today. Or by attending RISE Together: Memorial Art Auction for Therapy and Healing in Remembrance of Sharon Boyd on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
We cannot express how much the support of our community and donors like you means to our agency and to the individuals we serve. Thank you for your continued support!

In 2023 RISE opened the only Intensive Crisis Residence, SunRISE Retreat, in the Capital Region. SunRISE Retreat provides 24-hour professional support in a residential setting to people experiencing an acute mental health crisis to stabilize and return to their homes or communities.

In 2023 and 2024 RISE proudly met the housing needs of our community by opening two 60 Unit Apartment Complexes, Dominic Hollow in Ballston Spa and The Riverview Apartments at Corinth.
Each complex has 30 Units of Affordable Housing meeting the housing needs of low income families in our community and 30 Units of Supportive Housing permanent housing and support services to adults with mental health diagnoses and other life challenges.
In 2025 RISE met a crucial need in Saratoga County by opening the only Residential Rehabilitation Program, RISE Above, in Saratoga County.

RISE Above provides trauma-informed, client directed treatment to persons in substance abuse recovery in a safe and supportive recovery environment, including:

- Individual, group and family counseling as appropriate to patient needs
